Apple store Northpark Mall, Dallas, TX

Visited an Apple store for the first time ever on Friday in Dallas at about 2 to 3 p.m. as I recall.
Mall was moderately busy to perhaps only light traffic. Apple store had a constant flow of people. We were in a hurry and stayed only about 10 to 15 minutes. Didn’t notice if people were really buying…didn’t see any large packages leaving the store but a lot of people talking and looking at stuff…completely from front to back of this narrow and long store.
It’s a small store and I did a quick headcount that came to between 50 and 70 people which even with people walking out was maintained as I noticed there were always a few more coming in. Very nice little store.
A worker named Erik asked me if I needed help. No, just looking…I own a few shares of stock in this company and thought I’d check it out…he proceeded to give me a full run-down of their services and offerings. I pretty much knew all of that having read so many accounts of Sanity members’ visits. My boys love the iPhones/iPod touches. I do too. Gonna get one someday but I think a month before WWDC and the 3G is the wrong time to consider it. I suppose there may always exist a reason to wait “for that next upgrade” or whatever, but I do believe going from the very first generation versions to the 2nd will likely prove to be a big step up.
I saw iPhone boxes there so I presumed they had plenty to sell. I didn’t notice a lot of interest in playing with them as with the laptops and computers. I noted some teens that looked like they were probably there just to check email or chat or something.
Oh and there were clearly some people there who were being taught how to use a variety of products. My 10-year-old discovered the kids’ section with iMacs and some games on them to test…he liked the Star Wars Lego game and I really like the iMac large, crisp and clear screens. Very nice.

Yesterday, I had my I MAC serviced at the Dallas Store; My problem was solved. However, my mouse was in the box and when I opened it this morning, the mouse was missing. Mr. Eric deLemos was my specialist. (super too)
I live 130 miles east of Dallas. My trip yesterday was solely to have my IMAC restored. Please have someone mail
