Frustrated by AAPL’s price?

Are you frustrated that a company of Apple’s accomplishments and bright prospects seems to be treated badly by the public stock markets?
Get used to it!!!
There are countless examples (think Nike) of this sort of treatment to any company that comes out of nowhere and suddenly begins to dominant an industry.
When you take the lead, everybody is out to get you.
You become a walking target.
In a perverse sort of way, it can become a “badge of honor.”
Better find a way to make it work for you.

I don’t like the way Apple’s share price is treated at all. You’re right, I’ll just have to take my lumps. I’ve owned Apple shares for about five years and I have made money from it. Right now the economy does have problems and it might take more time for things to settle down. Analysts do have high target prices and Apple hasn’t gotten much closer to fulfilling those projections. Maybe it’s just not meant to be.
BTW, Apple doesn’t dominate the computer industry or the smartphone industry, just the mp3 player industry. Apple didn’t suddenly come out from nowhere. They’ve been around since the early 80’s.
I do believe that Apple did help improve the smartphone industry and many users and a few companies are benefiting from it. Whether it’s Wall Street hate that’s keeping Apple’s stock price down, I do not know.
