iPhone Country Count to 78
On June 12, 2008, Cotten999 (editor of AAPLinvestors.net) posted the following update to his iPhone countries chart:

The iPhone Country Count is now up to 78 countries and territories. Fortune’s Philp Elmer-DeWitt found an announcement in the Luxemburger Wort, that the iPhone will be carried by VOXmobile, a subsidiary of France Telecom’s Orange. This list is based on announcements from the global carriers that have made contractual agreements with Apple. It will be updated as more countries are announced as well as the official launch dates.
Stand back! We really don’t know how big this is gonna get!

Does this include Puerto Rico? I mean, come on! We have been asking for an Apple Store or at least shipping from the Online Store to Puerto Rico and we haven’t received it yet! I bet none of these new countries have! We even have an officially signed online petition with over 10,000 signatures… or over a thousand… not sure! But still! I mean, the biggest mall in the Caribbean (bigger than a lot of US malls) is right here in Puerto Rico, called: Plaza de las Americas! Why not just open there?
