Went to the Manhattan Beach store at lunchtime. This store is in the Mall along Sepulveda in the South Bay. Once in the mall I noticed a couple of people walking toward the exit with Apple products. It was easy to find the store by just following the trail of folks with Apple products.

The store had a pretty decent # of folks milling around. Plenty of folks at the genious bar………….. which was where I was headed. They took my nano and I’ll get a replacement in a couple of days. The kids (employees) were very nice and friendly. In the 2 minutes I was being helped a customer bought an 8 GB iphone. I asked about the new Touches and was told they wouldn’t be in stock until later in the week. I want one! “First come first served on those pups”………………… no preordering allowed. Perhaps they’ll be in stock when I go back to pick up my replacement nano. ??? I think this is a very smart marketing plan from Apple. Anyway, that’s it from the store.
