    >…You should’a traded it that way….<

You should’a traded it that way ???

And NOW you tell me how I should have traded it ‘that way’ ..?

    You serious ?

Were were you when we needed you most, you ‘I saw-all-this-coming-butkept-all-the-info-to-myself-joker’ ?

You’re lucky, we have a code of conduct so i can’t tell you to go and f*ck off.

“Pissing & Moaning” ? Yeah, you’re damn right we are and maybe we deserved it, but ain’t no wise guy here telling me how I should have/could have, after the events.

I’m proud to let you know that you are the First ever to be put on Ignore, here on IV.

If you don’t like hanging out here, I’d suggest you leave. Fast.

And if you won’t; I will.

I think the stock will head to around 147 and maybe consolidate there. Volume is increasing but the volume at the 147 level is massive. We will see.

    See my analysis at http://www.worldworststockpicker.com

I do not own the stock.

Take a deep breath

AAPL

On September 9, 2008, rjack posted the following:

The stock is down, so what? Are you really surprised?
There was an event today, you’re disappointed but many out there actually
expected new laptops or something really big. If YOU did, you were head-faked.

The stock is down, so what? Are you really surprised?
We’re in a bar market, and you want AAPL to act like it did during the bull.
They just bailed out fannie and freddie and screwed the shareholders,
and some here expect AAPL to climb to $200?

The stock is down, so what? Are you really surprised?
Has the iPod event really pumped th stock recently, or do sales do that?
Did you listen to talk of “you really need to be there” and let yourself
fall into a trap? Why? Did you really think the PR department was going
to let the event be thinly attended or have no-shows for people that matter?
If that had happened, do you realize how much MORE we would be down?
Do you think Apple can get NBC back on board without saying “We’re going to
get a bigger hall, get more people, YOU are important and we’re going to
put the NBC announcement right up early in the BIG show!”.

There were lot’s of good things here.
Some of you act like “take out NBC, take out iTunes 8, forget about the iPhone software update, nothing matters except GPS in the Touch”. (or fill in your one
thing that would have made the show a success and would be worth trading everything)

Come on people, get a spine. Buck up. Nothing is wrong with Apple.

What happened today?
A) iPhone update THIS WEEK. With supposed changes to LOTS of things.
Are you pretending this didn’t happen?
B) NBC - Ok, you all wanted to complain NBC didn’t matter and didn’t like
all the press when NBC bailed. But this is MAJOR capitulation.
NBC is back, with HD, with good shows, and maybe (just maybe) we can
hope some of the bogus coverage NBC gives Apple will soften.
C) The new Nano is recognition the Fat-Boy was a BIG MISTAKE. (and nobody noticed)
DO you realize how bad the fud on THAT could be? Count our blessings.
The new Nano should sell like hotcakes this season.
D) The speaker on the touch is a big deal. Ask game writers.
E) The iTunes 8.0 stuff is trying to “gap” everyone else. The Google marketplace
is going to have a hard time catching up to version 7, and version 8 just added stuff.
It is important that the target remains a moving target.
F) New accessories. Better headphones. Armbands. Stuff that is money.
(some of it FULL of earnings)

This is just streaming out of my brain, but you’d think without a 160gb flash based Touch…. all is lost.

Remember, they can upgrade some of the line easily in the next 60 days. (more memory)
And this is NOT the computer show it’s the music show.

The stock is down, the overall market is horrible so…. big surprise?

No. You should’a traded it that way……..

Again, if Apple would’ve let have the tech writers stay home and phone it
in, the big story today would be how Apple held an event and nobody came.
Would be ten times worse than all the pissing and moaning on the board.

It’s sales.
It’s earnings.
It’s the computer announcments coming.
Until it’s October, we’re not making the annual run so just relax and set your positions while the opporunity is presented by the rest of the market.

(*gets off soap box, relaxs with a deep breath or two, and walks away calm and collected hoping people will relax and let it do what it will do….*)
